The Fastly [control panel](https://www.fastly.com/documentation/guides/getting-started/navigating-fastly/about-the-web-interface-controls) allows you to change the name associated with your Fastly account.

## Changing names

Anyone can change the name associated with their Fastly account. If you've been assigned the [role of superuser](https://www.fastly.com/documentation/guides/account-info/user-and-account-management/about-user-roles-and-permissions), you can change the name of anyone currently associated with your company's Fastly account.

> **HINT:** Looking to change your name on your Signal Sciences account? If you only have a Signal Sciences account or if you have both a Fastly account and a Signal Sciences account that share the same email address, you must [contact support](https://support.fastly.com) to change your name.

### Changing your name

Follow these instructions to change the name currently associated with your Fastly account:

1.   Log in to the [Fastly control panel](https://manage.fastly.com).

2. Go to **Account** > [**Profile & security**](https://accounts.fastly.com/profile).
3. Click [**Your profile**](http://accounts.fastly.com/profile/edit).
4. In the **Name** field, enter your name.
5. Click **Update Profile** to save the changes.

### Changing someone else's name

Follow these instructions to change the name currently associated with someone's Fastly account:

1.   Log in to the [Fastly control panel](https://manage.fastly.com).

2. Go to **Account** > [**User management**](https://manage.fastly.com/account/users).
3. In the **Users** area, find the appropriate user and then click the gear <span class="inline-icons"><img src="/img/icons/gear.png" alt="Gear icon" /></span> next to their name.
4. From the menu that appears, select **Edit user**.
5. In the **Name** field, enter the updated name.
6. Click **Update** to save the changes.
