These endpoints return reference data about the AI providers and models <a href="https://www.fastly.com/documentation/reference/api/ai-runtime-control">AI Runtime Control</a> supports, and setup information for connecting to Amazon Bedrock.

## Data model

| Field | Type | Description |
|-------|------|-------------|
| `arc_role_arn` | string | The ARN of the AI Runtime Control IAM role your AWS account's trust policy must trust. |
| `external_id` | string | The external ID to require in your trust policy. This is your Fastly customer ID. |
| `display_name` | string | The human-readable name of the model. |
| `id` | string | The model identifier. |
| `provider_id` | string | The ID of the provider this model belongs to. |
| `total` | integer | The count of models returned. |
| `meta` | object |  |
| `default_base_url` | string | The default API base URL for the provider. |
| `models` | array | The models available from this provider. |

## API endpoints

### Get supported providers

**GET** `/ai-runtime-control/v1/providers`

Returns the AI providers supported by AI Runtime Control, with each provider's available models nested within.

### Get models for a provider

**GET** `/ai-runtime-control/v1/providers/{provider_id}/models`

Returns the models available for a specific provider.

**Parameters:**

| `provider_id` | string | path | Yes | The ID of the provider. |

### Get Bedrock setup information

**GET** `/ai-runtime-control/v1/providers/bedrock/setup`

Returns the AI Runtime Control IAM role Amazon Resource Name (ARN) and external ID to reference in your AWS
account's IAM trust policy before creating an <code>aws-iam</code> <a href="https://www.fastly.com/documentation/reference/api/ai-runtime-control/provider-connections#arc-create-provider-connection">provider connection</a>
to Amazon Bedrock.
Requires AWS IAM authentication to be enabled on your account. If it isn't, this
endpoint returns a 404 response.
