We've enhanced our [DDoS Protection API](https://www.fastly.com/documentation/reference/api/ddos-protection/) to provide better traffic insights. The [traffic stats](https://www.fastly.com/documentation/reference/api/ddos-protection/#ddos-protection-traffic-stats-rule-get) endpoint now includes a `traffic_percentage` field, giving you clearer visibility into attack patterns relative to your overall traffic. You can also now retrieve embedded traffic statistics when calling DDoS Protection [event rules](https://www.fastly.com/documentation/reference/api/ddos-protection/#ddos-protection-event-rule-list) by using the new `include=traffic_stats` parameter.
