You can now retrieve historical metrics data more efficiently using the new [Platform Metrics API](https://www.fastly.com/documentation/reference/api/metrics-stats/platform/) endpoints. This makes it easier to analyze traffic patterns and resource usage across your services. The API supports cursor-based pagination for large datasets, predefined metric sets that bundle related metrics, and flexible grouping by point of presence or datacenter.
