Maarten Van Horenbeeck | Fastly, Inc.

Maarten Van Horenbeeck is Vice President of Security Engineering at Fastly, as well as a board member of the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST), the largest association of security teams, counting 300 members in over 70 countries. Prior to Fastly, he managed the Threat Intelligence team at Amazon, and worked on the security teams at Google and Microsoft.

Dr. Jose Nazario | Fastly, Inc.

Dr. Jose Nazario is the Director of Security Research at Fastly, and is a recognized expert on cyberthreats to ISPs, network subscribers, and enterprises from cybercrime and malware. Previously, he was the Research Director for Malware Analysis at Invincea Labs and the head of Arbor security and engineering Response Team. He’s published several works, most notably his books: “Secure Architectures with OpenBSD” and “Defense and Detection Strategies against Internet Worms.”

Jonathan Foote | Fastly, Inc.

Jonathan Foote is a Senior Security Architect at Fastly, where he focuses on critical application, R&D, and operational security activities. Previously, Jonathan attacked a range of application and network environments as a penetration tester, acted as primary investigator for security research projects at Carnegie Mellon University SEI/CERT, and engineered secure network communication systems for Fortune 100 companies.

Anna MacLachlan | Fastly, Inc.

Anna MacLachlan is Fastly’s Content Marketing Manager, where she talks to brands and partners to tell stories about scale, security, and performance. She received her MA in Comparative Literature from NYU and loves megafauna and mountains.
