fastly vcl snippet/describe

Get the uploaded VCL snippet for a particular service and version.


$ fastly vcl snippet/describe --version=VERSION


--versionYes'latest', 'active', or the number of a specific Fastly service version
--dynamicNoWhether the VCL snippet is dynamic or versioned
--jsonNoRender output as JSON
--nameNoThe name of the VCL snippet
--service-idNoService ID (falls back to FASTLY_SERVICE_ID, then fastly.toml)
--service-nameNoThe name of the service
--snippet-idNoAlphanumeric string identifying a VCL Snippet

--accept-defaultsNoAccept default options for all interactive prompts apart from Yes/No confirmations

Get the uploaded VCL snippet for the currently active service version

To describe a 'versioned' snippet replace the --snippet-id and --dynamic flags with --name.

$ fastly vcl snippet describe --snippet-id 3p8fPcMVB6OqbMxGT83hb9 --dynamic --version active
